Our Culinary Services

For as long as we can remember, we’ve loved food. Selecting, preparing, cooking, and baking nutritious and delicious foods is a passion for us. For years we’ve dreamt of sharing our recipes through some sort of catering services. Since 2021, we’ve been planning to provide a service that allows people to enjoy healthy, guilt-free treats. In July 2022, our dreams and plans came to fruition, when we launched Flourishing Foods, our catering service, and TreatBox, a way for special occasions to be enjoyed with plant-based, gluten-free, and refined sugar-free treats. his part of our work is more of a social enterprise, built on the foundation of our cookbooks.

TreatBox

Due to our preference for plant-based and gluten-free treats that have zero refined sugar, it often happened that we would have to make our own treats. Over time, we decided to share the goodness we’d developed with more people. The result: TreatBox. A variety pack of sweet treats for special occasions.

The values that led us to develop TreatBox include:

  1. Guilt-free enjoyment of sweet treats that contain zero animal products, gluten, and refined sugar.
  2. Not a single ingredient in any treat contributes to any lifestyle disease, period.
  3. Zero harm to animals, as we use only plant-based ingredients.
  4. Lowest possible climate impact due to plant-based ingredients.
  5. Using biodegradable packaging to allow environmental care.

Flourishing Foods

Just before the inaugural TreatBox, we launched our catering services. Termed Flourishing Foods, the goal here is to provide meals and desserts that are plant-based, gluten-free, low oil, low salt, high protein, as unprocessed as possible, local, and with zero refined sugar. We want to bring food to people that delights based on flavor, and suprises when they learn of our ingredients. This is a real chance for us to bring into action the many recipes we’ve been developing for the last several years, and publishing through our cookbooks. Our first gigs were for workshops where people wanted something different from the usual veggie fare, and we delivered a variety of Italian, Indian, and Asian food along with our bliss balls. The feedback was amazing and we were on our way. However, our ultimate goal is beyond treats, and beyond catering. Read on.

Culinary Courses

We were invited to develop courses that empower people with strong knowledge of plant-based nutrition, the skills to make delicious plant-based dishes, and the desire to build healthy relationships with food and its source. To date, we have developed several courses – stay tuned for more information about them. Our ultimate goal is to equip everyone with the right skills to master their own wellbeing. Now that, we feel, is a true service to humanity.
