Every year, we do an annual review. Our Year in Review (YIR) usually reflects on the breadth of work carried out, and intentions for the following year. Alchemus Prime was founded in 2015, which was also the first year we published a book. Since then, we have been writing and publishing regularly – poetry, recipes, self-help books, and memoirs. We teach courses based on our self-help books. Another thread of our work involves coaching leaders from around the world using our unique Alchemus Prime Diamond Model. We also run retreats and workshops in a variety of domains; our facilitation focuses on a range of topics, including behavior change, team dynamics, strategic planning, grief management and conflict resolution. Our consulting work spans gender, disability and social inclusion (GEDSI), climate change, human resources, and a variety of other domains. We also undertake annual professional development activities to strengthen our knowledge and skills base. Below you will find a brief summary of each year of our operations:
We ran 4 retreats for entrepreneurs and companies focused on Career Manifestation (one of our signature programs) and change management. We consulted in marketing and website development, and published our first book.
We ran 15 retreats focused on CEO leadership, career manifestation, operations, and business development. We consulted to support startups in various fields and published 5 books.
We ran 4 retreats focused on employee engagement, product and business development. We consulted for startups, doing business and strategy development, and published 5 books. We developed our signature coaching program, Lasting Transformation.
We developed 5 courses based on our self-help books, and began teaching. We started coaching leaders from around the world, and took on 8 speaking engagements. We ran 4 retreats focused on behavior change and trauma. We published 4 books. We launched our free services: Mornings with Marilyn, Dr. An, and Beyond Medicine.
We expanded our coaching business 3-fold, reaching into diverse countries. We launched our wellness programs, and ran retreats focused on holistic wellness and meditation. Our consulting work included climate change projects, we published one book, and continued our service through free projects.
Despite the pandemic, we maintained our coaching work, and continued with our wellness work. We facilitated workshops on empowered communication, leadership, and team dynamics. Our consulting work took a more feminist turn, and we worked with Fiji Women’s Fund and UN Women. We published 6 books, and had varied speaking engagements.
We maintained our coaching work, and expanded our facilitation of workshops in the human resource development arena. We continued consulting with feminist organizations. We published 7 books, deepening our work in the trauma healing field, including publishing in collaboration with incarcerated individuals. We dabbled in sustainable fashion. We began to visually summarize our year in review.
We saw an increase in trauma-related coaching and more interest in our self-help courses. We trialed a new service: plant-based, gluten-free, low oil, low salt, and refined sugar-free food services, including meals and treats. Our consulting work focused on team dynamics, collective care, high-level recruitment, and climate change. We published 4 books and launched our journals, publishing a total of 4. We continued our love affair with sustainable fashion, and continued our free services and speaking engagements.
We continued with coaching and teaching, focused increasingly on trauma healing. Our facilitation and consulting services focused on a range of topics, including collective care, feminist leadership and high-level recruitment, climate resilience, organizational strengthening, change management, and empowered communication. We published 5 books and 1 journal.
We saw another surge in coaching (four times our usual client numbers) and teaching (doubled our teaching load), again focused on trauma healing. Our consulting work expanded into gender-based violence, and we saw our facilitation skills needed more and more for annual planning activities for clients. We published 4 books (including our first ever children’s book!) and 1 journal.
